SUMMARY

In recent years, the e-commerce market for furniture has experienced significant growth. Consumers have increasingly embraced online shopping, and this trend has extended to the furniture sector.

Online platforms provide convenience, a wide range of options, and the ability to compare prices easily, making them attractive to customers.

Selling expensive furniture online can be challenging due to several factors. High-end furniture often involves higher price points, and customers may prefer to see and touch the items before making a purchase.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The outcome for this project is to provide a seamless and intuitive user experience throughout Oka website. Users should find it easy to navigate, locate information, and complete desired actions. The website should be optimised for different devices and screen sizes, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience across platforms.

SOLUTION

We first started by tackling the visual aspect of the site, aiming to improve the overall aesthetics of the existing website, making it more visually appealing, modern, and aligned with the brand identity.

IMAGES GALLERY

Images are tremendously important to users’ product-browsing behavior; when users are unable to find product images, they can miss out on critical visual information and reject the product based only on the images they are able to view.

Ensure there is sufficient contrast between foreground (text or icons) and background colors. This makes it easier for users to read the content. Guidelines, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), provide specific contrast ratios to meet accessibility standards.
